Jeyalakshmi Velu Ph.D. is a Post-Doctoral researcher at UCT Prague with expertise in Catalysis. Prior to this position, she was a Research Scientist in Reliance Industries Limited, India for 3 years, after receiving PhD degree in Chemistry from MKU-National Centre for Catalysis Research (NCCR), IIT Madras, India. She has published articles in international journals and holds patents in the field of her expertise. Her main research interest is in the field of energy and environmental applications including the design and synthesis of photo catalysts, and identifying structure-activity correlations for Carbon dioxide storage and conversion, Water splitting and Nitrogen fixation.
